Setting Up Sprint PCS Voicemail
Getting Started The first time you call your new Sprint PCS Voicemail, you will be prompted to set up your mailbox. This must be done before you can check for messages. Complete the following steps:
  • Press the Envelope button (Tape Icon for the Nokia model) on your Sprint PCS Phone and hold for at least one second.
  • When the Voicemail system answers, enter your temporary pass code, which is "SPRINT" (or 777468), on your keypad.
  • Enter a new personalized pass code.
  • Record your name.
  • Record a personal greeting for your callers. For example, "You have reached Robert Jones. I am unavailable right now, so please leave a message.
Retrieving Your Messages Your Sprint PCS Phone alerts you when you have a new voicemail message by displaying an "envelope" icon at the top of your screen.

From your own Sprint PCS Phone:

  • Press and hold the envelope button (Tape Icon for the Nokia model).
  • You will be prompted on how to retrieve your new messages.

From any other touch tone phone:

  • Dial your own Sprint PCS phone number.
  • Press STAR at the greeting
  • You will be prompted on how to retrieve your new messages.
